Trip East

We just got back from a week trip to the east coast to visit my family and friends. We packed a lot into the trip in a short amount of time. We caught up with an old friend from college and her family (minus the new twins) for lunch. We also braved the rainstorms (minus AJ, who stayed home with her cousins and Nonna and PopPop!) to meet up with the Ditch, my roommates from college. Fun was had by all (maybe I had a little too much fun, if you know what I mean)! AJ enjoyed spending time with her cousins E and A. They were excited to play with her. They didn't leave her side for the whole weekend. They even helped change diapers!

Despite all of the fun we had, we spent the last day in the Urgent Care waiting room (with a bunch of people suffering from Swine Flu!) to ensure that baby AJ was okay to travel. She was feeling a little under the weather on the trip. Well, it turns out she was diagnosed with fussy baby (I mean really, are you kidding me . . . there is a diagnosis for this?) and she was okay to travel back home. AJ's dad had gone home a few days earlier, so I braved the trip by myself with baby AJ in tow. AJ was a fabulous baby on the trip! Thanks to my family for a great trip! We will do it again soon . . . for Xmas!
