Update: We just got back from AJ's nine month appointment. Her numbers put her in the 90 percentile . . . she is a big girl! Anyways, the doctor was running through the list of milestones to ensure AJ is growing and developing well. The doctor asked is she crawling? Yes. Is she pulling up? Yes. Is she making consonant sounds? Yes. Is she interacting socially with you? AJ answered this one herself. She waved. Throughout the rest of the appointment, she waved to the doctor. (The doctor thought that AJ was telling her to leave!) Even on the way out, after the horrible shots, she waved at the doctor. What a well-mannered, polite young lady!

The Wave
AJ has learned how to wave. She has waved before, but I had to hold her hand up and help her a bit. She wasn't quite sure what she was doing. Now, however, AJ has realized that she can control her hand and actually make it wave. Sooooo, she does it constantly. While she is playing with her toys, she will stop and wave. She will wave at her blocks, wave at her play table, wave at the Jumperoo. You name it, AJ will wave at it. She does not discriminate . . . both animate and inanimate objects alike! She is like a queen waving to her royal subjects. It's quite funny!
